Completed the assembly of the Mural!!!!

Today Debbie completed the assembly of the 36 metre Mural so that all of the children will have a chance to see their work in the mural. There are over 400 creatures in the artwork ranging from spiders to emus. If you haven't seen your work, it is definitely in there. Perhaps have a look at your class page on earlier posts of this blog and have a look at what you have made, it will make it easier to find it in the big mural. After firing and glazing, the artworks are much brighter than when you first made them. The mural has not been grouted yet, that will be the next step. This will be done over the remainder of December and January.

  1. Your beautiful mural has made the entrance to our junior school warm and inviting. It is so nice to walk into the school gates every day and be greeted by such a welcoming and lovely piece of art. The children love picking out their pieces of art in the mural - how wonderful to think that their art will be there to look back on when they are grown up. Thank you Deb!

  2. Thank's Yvette for the feedback, I have been really pleased with the way the children and parents have responded to the mural and hope it will be kept in the hearts of all those involved for many years. The children and parents who were involved have made such marvellous things out of clay!
