A Group Of Daring Year 8 Students worked with Debbie and their art teacher Louisa Zaghis, to make the larger animals for the mural and Noah's family and the boat. Siobhan made a Greater Glider and painted the possums

Everyone helped each other at different times and also made other things such as the letters for the writing, the grass, small creatures and insects. What a fabulous group of young people, who worked co-operatively together and did their very best for our mural. It was a big and arduous task. Well done! The Year 8 Muralists talk about the project. Hi our names our Tuana and Rebecca F, together we had made the boobook owls. Rebecca had made the big male and I had made the female, with our oqls you will notice that togeether we have shared makeing the boobook chick, we decided that it would have been cute to pop a little baby between the two parents. Our owls are life size and so are all the other animals, our boobook owls will be mates for life. Monique and Jordan enjoyed making the people of noahs ark. We used various colours throughout each of the people and put our best effort into eeach person. We spent over fifteen lessons making the kangaroos. The work speaks for itself. ........................................................ We named our beautiful and fabulous emus "Bobby and Timmy"...Alyssa & Georgia .................................................... I was with Taylah and we each made a koala. It was really hard to mould the eyes but it really looks amazing!...Andrea ......................................................................................... The reason that i really enjoyed making the Australian dingo is because it was something that i have never done before and i spent so long on the detail!...Julia.. ..........................................................................
